Snow Poem

Snow
 by Joanne Faries

crisp snap in the air

white flakes swirl

stick out a tongue

feather light wisp

fleeting chill dot

Hey - I can dream can't I?  This picture is from 2008.

  1. You forgot to mention:
    Freezing ears and chilled skull
    Stiff fingers, slippery underfoot
    Mud traipsed inside
    Wet floors make more work.
    Hehe.

  2. Great poem, but after my experiences of winter 2010/11 I'm afraid I see snow more the way Francene does... Oh no, does that mean I'm growing up??? :-(
